TORONTO: January 31, 2017. Pure Nickel Inc. (TSXV: NIC) (the “Company”) announces that Thomas S. Kofman has been appointed as interim Chief Financial Officer of the Company.

Mr. Kofman has been a director of the Company since 2012 and has served on the Audit Committee since that time. Mr. Kofman has over 30 years of experience in North American Capital Markets as both an issuer and banker; he is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University.
